Romulan space has brilliant stars,
And
wispy bridal-veils of gas;
But
there are also dust lanes here
Reaching
far across, obscuring ...
"You
state the obvious, Spock.
Everyone
fulfills his duty."
"There
is no regulation limiting
the content of my statement."
Such
diversity in this galaxy,
Strange
combination shapes of suns;
They
make a lovely crown of jewels,
Starshine jewels, to light her hair.
"My
crime is sabotage;
I
do freely admit my guilt."
//Make
haste, Captain, or there will be
little left of me to beam aboard.//
It
is glorious, this design of light;
But
I am an intruder here.
At
last the touch, the shimmer-whine of safety.
Dare
I hope -- will she come with me?
