Nurse Chapel knew parrots could talk.

Yet she gave one to Mr. Spock

While they were in bed,

It heard what they said,

and told all, "I love your big..." SQUAWK!

Christine quickly grabbed for the bird

before it could speak its last word.

but all who were near

didn't have to hear

the parrot's last word was inferred.
